This dog is AWESOME. Awesome like pirates and ninjas fighting on LaserSharks in space.
We just can’t keep her. We took her in because she is super cute/adoptable, but was running loose and neglected in our neighborhood. Since she didn’t have tags, we were worried about her getting taken to the city shelter, hit by a car, or one of our neighbor kids saying “That dog bit me!” (which they’ve said in the past about OUR inside/fenced yard/leash dogs.) Upon Googling for photos and temperament, we think she may be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/mix.
Eudora trots around with a tennis ball shoved in her mouth all day, and sleeps/gently mauls a stuffed monkey at night. She has a lot of energy, but also seems exactly the sort of dog who’d be thrilled to loaf around on the couch and watch tv. She accidentally met one of our cats last night, and she didn’t show any aggression, only curiosity. She wants to be friends with our dogs, but the Professor is a drama queen and Sam is deathly afraid of her the way he is scared of most small children.
Miss Welty has oodles of personality. She grunts like she’s sniffing out truffles, and belches after meals. I will bet you a nickel that you can’t watch her run without laughing. Every ounce of Eudora’s considerably muscular (yet still porcine) frame quivers with exuberant doggitude. Her dentistry is questionable, but her face is RIDICULOUSLY sweet. Her floppy ears are as expressive as eyebrows. She trundles around with cheery self confidence. She deserves a loving home where folks will love her and treat her with respect and care.
